Jorge Bierge Somerville , founder of Bierge Consulting , is an Economist graduated from ITAM , specializing in Financial Risk and Implementation of technological solutions.

He began his career in the International Affairs area of the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) in the analysis for the implementation of Banking regulation in Mexico ( Basel I ).

For 22 years he has served as Risk Director specializing in the end-to-end management of the Risk system lifecycle (Market, Credit and Liquidity) , in multiple Financial institutions in Mexico and Latin America and the implementation of Front-to-Back solutions , coordinating Development, Product, Implementation and Support teams in Mexico, United States, India, Spain and London for more than 50 Financial institutions in the sector.

Among his skills that propelled him to consolidate his career are project management , his leadership in the implementation of end-to-end solutions, starting from the analysis and design of functional and technical requirements , documentation of specifications , manuals, training , support and development of valuation and financial risk models .

His ability to clearly understand the requirements and coordinate them with the Development teams has allowed him to establish strong collaborative relationships, constant closeness with clients, and a high commitment to addressing any new requirement and providing end-to-end support in projects. These skills have enabled him to understand the market, the needs of clients, and the challenges they face in the daily process of collaborating with local and external technology platform providers, and the ability to deliver efficient and high-quality solutions on time .

He has collaborated on multidisciplinary projects based on mathematical, economic and technological analysis in the educational, regulatory, civil engineering and research sectors.
